If you’re planning a friends or family gathering, company retreat, or wedding, The Andiron might just be the right spot for you.

We are a fun, charming alternative to your typical venue. With five acres of meadow and woods, we have plenty of room for a great gathering complete with dining, dancing, games, and carousing in a rustic environment. After the party, soak in the hot tub, relax under the stars and keep the party going for those who stay over. We have 11 cabins with a variety of sleeping arrangements to accommodate around 25 people. Perfect for a small wedding or gathering – and for people who like things simple and stylish.

Some things you should know about booking The Andiron for your group:
  • Our cabins can accommodate 24 adults (six king beds, five queens, one twin, and one convertible sofa). We have three additional rollaways that can accommodate teenagers and children. That's it folks! Other than babies, that's all the people you can bring. No camping, campers, tents, sleeping bags, etc.
  • Even though you've rented out the place, normal rules for civilized living apply! Like: we have neighbors so you'll have to pipe down after about 10pm. And: Umm, no you can't bring the indoor furniture outside.
  • We are non-smoking. For reals. No smoking. Not outside, not inside, no sneaky smoking, nothing. If we find any evidence of smoking, we'll charge you $200 and then $25 for each butt we find. Don't be that guy!
  • We have very little indoor common space. Thus, the majority of your fun will probably have to take place outdoors, regardless of weather. You'll probably be off hiking or kayaking or wine-tasting or beach-strolling anyway.
If you're having an event for which you'll have *any* catering, tables, chairs, or tenting brought in OR any additional guests beyond those staying in the cabins (like a wedding) in addition to booking all the cabins for your group, some additional guidelines apply:
  • Have you stayed with us before? Hope so! You can only get married OR host an event here if you've stayed with us at least once.
  • Two night minimum! (Check in the day before your event; check out the day after).
  • No more than 75 guests total for your event (including those staying with us).
  • You'll want to work with local vendors (we can give you a list) for *everything.* Catering, tents, chairs, kitchen...everything. Vendors can set up between 12 the day before your event (NO earlier) and MUST be completed cleaning everything up by 2pm the day after your event.
  • Porta-potties are necessary for gatherings more than 30 people (including those staying on the property).
  • Guests not staying on the property are permitted to come no more than hour before your event and must scram by one hour after your event. Registered guests only in the hot tub.
  • Only dogs of registered guests allowed to come!
